1. What this site is

Palampur Properties is an information service. We publish an index of accommodation in the Palampur and Bir-Billing belt and pass enquiries to the businesses that operate it.

2. What this site is not

We are not a travel agent, tour operator or booking platform. We do not hold inventory, take payment from travellers, confirm reservations, or act as agent for any property. Any contract you enter is directly between you and the accommodation provider, and we are not a party to it.

3. Accuracy of listings

Area coordinates derive from OpenStreetMap under the Open Database Licence; listings are supplied by owners. As of 2026-08-30 it covers 18 areas. Listings are supplied by the businesses that operate them.

We make no warranty that a listed property is open, available, accurately categorised, or suitable for you. Distances are calculated straight-line from coordinates and are not road distances. Always confirm details with the property before travelling or paying.

4. Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry authorises us to share the details you provide with accommodation providers relevant to your request. We do not guarantee a reply, a rate, or availability. We charge travellers nothing.

5. Property owners

You may only submit or claim a property you operate or are authorised to represent.
Information you supply must be accurate and kept current. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal without refund.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish the text and images you supply on this site.
Paid tiers are billed annually in advance after verification and renew only if you choose to renew.
A free basic listing may be removed at your written request.

6. Advertising

Paid placements are labelled as such. Advertising confers no influence over the ordering of any list of stays on this site, and we reserve the right to decline or withdraw any advertisement.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it, submit false enquiries or listings, impersonate a property, or use the site to harass anyone. We may rate-limit or block access to protect the service.

8. Intellectual property

Editorial text, area guides, design and code are ours. Location data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL and remains subject to that licence. Owner-supplied text and images remain the owner’s.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your dealings with any accommodation provider, from reliance on listing information, or from any interruption of the site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kangra, Himachal Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
